A little backstory of how Tracy Immanuel MakeUp came about
My Story
Hi Everyone, here’s a little backstory about Tracy Immanuel MakeUp. I graduated from Cosmoprof with a Diploma in Professional Make Up Artistry in 2007. Tried being a MakeUp Artist then but as I was very young and inexperienced I didn’t manage to be one.
Went into Banking doing sales for 7 years and then did Business in Fashion but it failed. Still really glad it happened to fulfill a dream since young and for the experience.
By God’s Miraculous ways and Grace, in 2016, I took up an Advance Bridal Hairstyling course from my Mentor Christine Chia and she guided me to becoming a Bridal MakeUp Artist. My dear friend Ruiling also contacted me in 2016 and opened up the door for me to work in Mediacorp and I very thankfully got to work with many Celebrities on different projects.
I have also upgraded my Hair + MakeUp skills with veteran MakeUp Artists from Korea, Japan, China, UK, Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar to further improve my skills and to provide my clients with better works and services.
Have been using Tracy.Im Hair + MakeUp @tracyimhmua for the past 5 years which stands for Tracy Im Hair MakeUp Artist. The + stands for the Cross as I’m a Christian. As at the beginning, I was worried people can’t pronounce or spell Immanuel and was thinking was it too long. Finally rebranded to Tracy Immanuel MakeUp in July 2021. Immanuel is my Baptism name and Immanuel means God is with us.
Finally understood what Steve Jobs meant by “And like most matters of the heart, you’ll know it when you found it and like every great relationship, it will get better and better as the years goes on so keep looking, don’t settle.”
It is true. You Will know it when you found it. And it Will get better. The joy and satisfaction doing what you love, even just by learning anything new brings my heart great joy and every time I receive sweet messages from clients telling me how much they appreciate my work, it gives me indescribable joy and makes me fueled up to do even better for them.
I Thank God for every client I’ve crossed paths and will cross path with and I pray that I can bring joy and beauty satisfaction to each one of you.

Work is going to fill up a large part of your life. The only way to feel truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking & don’t settle. And like most matters of the heart, you’ll know it when you found it and like every great relationship, it will get better and better as the years goes on so keep looking, don’t settle.

I really liked Tracy and her work. Tracy is a great conversationalist, very willing to chat and share, so I felt really comfortable spending the hours with her. I got super nervous midway, but she was able to give me advice and calm me down, giving me the assurance I needed. She also took note of the little comments I made in the 1st look, and fixed them in the 2nd look (although I wasn’t expecting it)! Overall, a really good experience and would recommend!

On the AD, she helped my mom to touch up as well (which was a relief for both my mom & I lol).
