Then went to meet and doll up beautiful Bride Jeannie at 7am.
Jeannie’s Mum, SC was the one who found, booked and contacted me throughout and I only got to meet Jeannie on the day itself to do her Bridal Makeup!
Once we met, we started chatting, sharing about our lives and also started to fellowship and talk about God. It felt very divine and a feeling I missed having with my Makeup clients.
I always believe that every client is meant and planned by God and I also believe in His timings and seasons.

As there was no trial, so I communicated with her together with SC to create the look they like that suits her.

Testimonials really light me up and affirm me that I have done a good job for them and it doesn’t only matter to them. It truly matters to me too. So really thankful to all my dear clients who lets me know they liked what was done for them.
After Jeannie was done, I had about 1 hour+ to rest before I start on Billie at 12pm! Thank God she was coming over to my place for her Hair + Makeup!
Billie was my 2023 Bride and was so happy to meet her again to catch up and doll her up again! She needed some professional photos for work and had me to do her Makeup again yay!

In 2023 I posted Bookings closed. Since 2022 I felt led to close and it was during my peak it didn’t make sense. I kept holding on till 2023 when I received the confirmed signs to close. When I finally made the decision, peace and joy just gushed in. The overwhelm and busyness was eating me inside out. To be honest, after announcing bookings closed. I felt lost for quite a long time because I lost my identity then. I had nothing to cling on to then. I couldn’t say confidently I was a Makeup Artist because I posted bookings closed. About this, I feel like if ever you also feel like closing your business. It might be better to say to put it on a pause so it might not feel as weird when you still do while still being able to take a rest and breather.
Now I can see why God wanted me to do that. I used to put my identity as a successful Makeup Artist but the only identity He wants us to have is to be a child of God. To spent time with Him. Now that I have found back my identity as a child of God. I have His love, His presence, His peace, His provisions, His protection, His favor and His joy in me and for me and all these things from Him surpasses everything.
I’m truly thankful that I still get referrals and new enquiries to do what I love now and then and get appreciated for doing it and really love it whenever I get to connect and fellowship with clients while doing what I love too.
Now I’m led to do Heart to Art – Emotional Wellness Workshops. It is using simple methods with 5 Themes: Self-Love, Fun, Freedom, Emotional Reset and Thought Reframe to help and heal different parts of us. Self-Love to remind us to fill our cups first so love can pour onto others naturally from a place of joy and abundance. The world needs more love right now and isn’t it nice to always feel so loved inside out. And when you receive love and kindness from someone you naturally will want to pass on the love and kindness to the next person you meet so the love and kindness creates a ripple effect one person at a time starting from you and me. Let’s make the world a more loving and kinder place to live in to feel love abundantly from the inside out. Isn’t that great! Fun to reconnect us with our inner child and relive our funnest memories. Freedom to release and forgive things that may be holding us back for us to feel freedom from the inside out. Emotional Reset to release and reset our emotions and listen to what our heart really wants. Thought Reframe to shift our negative thoughts to positive ones to live lighter, think clearer and live better.
Time to time He will tell me that I need to tweak some things, sometimes it is obvious what I need to do, sometimes it isn’t but He guides through promptings and guides through attendance too. I’m also not sure how long this journey will last but this journey has been (unexpectedly for me) helping and healing people and also helping and healing me on the way too and I’m very grateful to be on this Heart to Art journey. Is it already time to pause or stop I don’t know but I will follow His lead. I believe the world needs Heart to Art.
And now that my identity is rooted as a child of God, letting go of what society expects but holding on to what only He expects. Wow this is true freedom inside out. Because we all know that truly He always provides in His ways. He truly just wants us to spend time with Him and quieten down our hearts to listen to Him and He will guide us in His time. If no sound, rest. This life He gave us is to be enjoyed with Him!
Recently my friend with 4 kids and a husband told me that nothing fulfills her like God. I thank her for telling me that. A fulfilling life matters and I want a fulfilling life with God in it always.
